Our Hotel is situated close to the very heart of the Dalmatian capital Split. The city’s history more than 1700 years old makes the city a unique experience. The centre of the town is like a living museum, where history and everyday life are mixed in a beautiful atmosphere.

As a guest at Hotel Globo you have easy access to all the major sights in Split. The old town and the Diocletian palace is just 10 minutes foot walk away. The Archaeological museum is also within walking distance. Further museums can be reached by bus number 8 which departures only a few meters from the hotel.

In the neighbourhood of the hotel there are plenty of cafes and several restaurants offering Mediterranean cuisine. Shopping options are of course also within walking distance of Hotel Globo. We recommend either the old town or the Joker shopping mal, both easy to reach.

For our guest we recommend the following beaches: on Marjan, the “green” area in Split, there is a number of great beaches. On the side facing the island of Brac, the Kašuni and Kaštelet beach are very popular. On the other side of the peninsula there are numerous smaller beaches. About 15-20 minutes of walk from the hotel the sandy beach Bačvice can be found; be aware that this is normally the most crowded beach in Split.

Inside Hotel Globo

At Hotel Globo we offer 33 comfortable and modernly decorated rooms. All rooms are equipped with LCD flat screens and large beds with anatomic mattresses. Rooms are available as double rooms, triple rooms and as family rooms, of course single guest are also welcome. Although the hotel is fairly new, (Opened 2001) the hotel rooms and bathrooms have several times been improved to ensure a constant high standard of the Hotel. WIFI internet is available throughout the hotel.

Our reception is at guests’ disposal 24/7. Our staff would be glad to help its guest with reservation of excursions, dinner table or other services. Of course our staff would also be able to help with any questions or advice about Split.
